Kettlebell Power - The Best Way to Improve Your Vertical Jump!

Kettlebell Power - The Best Way to Improve Your Vertical Jump!

Jump Starter

So can kettlebell training actually improve your vertical leap? The answer to this question is a profound YES! You see when you are training with the iron bell you are manipulating bodily movements and applying tension to the kinetic chain, otherwise known as the connected link of muscles that are involved in the movements you are implementing at the time. The key to doing this is implementing kettlebell lifts that mimic a feat such as a vertical jump. It just so happens that several kettlebell lifts do this to one degree or another.

The key to getting the most out of this is by implementing base lifts that you feel comfortable with such as maybe swings and jerks at first. Once you get these down then move on to more forceful dynamic lifts that will really tension and challenge the kinetic link such as the snatches and overhead swings. Working these particular lifts you are implementing the bigger core muscles that are necessary for executing the task of a vertical jump. The lifts that are more forceful and intense will yield you a greater improvement in getting some "serious ups" as the kids say these days. The truth is that the stronger and more dynamic you get with your workouts the better and better you will get athletically with any task. Improving your vertical leap takes smart training and kettlebell training is smart training. Utilize the iron bell for all its worth and dominate on the basketball court with your friends, or anywhere else for that matter.

If you haven't taken the time to implement the use of kettlebell lifts into your workouts in an effort to increase your vertical jump then get started today. You can't afford to let your competitors get the edge on you. Starting learning more about how you can develop your vertical jump muscles by accessing the rest of my articles on the issue for free.
